Meet Chris Seville

Physiotherapist

Chris has worked across Melbourne in private practice as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist since 2008. From 2011 to 2017, he was Team Physiotherapist and Strength Program Co-ordinator at the Collingwood Football Club.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (majoring in Anatomy and Exercise). He has also contributed to physiotherapy education, teaching anatomy and assessment techniques as part of the Monash University Physiotherapy faculty between 2010–2014, and lecturing through the Australian Physiotherapy Association Graduate Group Lecture Series. His research includes contributions to published studies on physiotherapy education.

Outside of clinical practice, Chris is a highly accomplished powerlifter:

  • 3× Open Australian Champion (2009, 2010, 2012)

  • Oceania Open Champion (2010)

  • Competed at Open World Championships (2012)

  • 2025 Australian Masters National Champion, 5th at Masters World Championships

At MD Strength, Chris supports members with injury management, recovery, and strength performance, drawing on both his physiotherapy expertise and his deep experience as a competitive lifter.
